How to Add a New Contact in Client Keeper

This guide will walk you through the complete process of adding a new contact to the Client Keeper app. You will learn how to input their personal information, add details about properties they are selling, and set up automatic follow-up reminders to stay in touch.

What You'll Need:

  • The Client Keeper app installed on your device.
  • The name, email, and other details of the contact you wish to add.

Steps:

1. Navigate to the Contacts Section

a. From the app's main "Follow Up" screen, look at the navigation bar at the bottom.
b. Tap the two-person icon to go to your Contacts list.
c. You will see the "Contacts" screen. If this is your first contact, the screen will be empty.

2. Start a New Contact


a. Tap the purple plus icon (+) located in the top-right corner of the screen.

3. Enter Personal Information (Step 1 of 3)
You are now on the "Create New Contact" page. Follow these steps to fill in the client's personal details.   

4. Add Property Details (Step 2 of 3)
You are now on the "Properties" screen, where you can link properties to your contact.

5. Set Up Follow-Up Reminders (Step 3 of 3)
This is the final step, where you create reminders to contact your client.

6. Finalize and View Your New Contact


a. After creating all desired follow-ups, tap Save and Continue.
b. You will be returned to your "Contacts" list, where your new contact will now appear.

Troubleshooting:

  • Can't find the plus icon? Make sure you have finished typing in the Email or Phone Number field before the plus icon becomes active.
  • Made a mistake? No problem. You can always tap on the contact's name from your main list to view, edit, or delete any of their information.
