How to Set a Recurring Follow-Up for a Contact

This guide will walk you through the process of setting a recurring follow-up reminder for a specific contact in your ClientKeeper app. This ensures you never miss an opportunity to connect with your clients and leads at regular intervals.

What You'll Need:

  • An existing contact saved in your ClientKeeper app.

Steps:

1. Go to Your Contacts List

  • In the main navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, make sure you are on the Contacts tab.
  • Look for the icon showing two people; this is the Contacts tab.

2. Select a Contact

  • From your contacts list, find the person you want to set a reminder for.
  • Tap on their name (e.g., "John Doe") to open their profile details.

3. Open the Follow-Up Editor

  • On the contact's detail page, locate the Follow Ups section.
  • Tap the arrow icon ( > ) on the right side of this section to open the editor.

4. Set the Follow-Up Frequency

  • On the "Edit Follow Up" screen, tap on the Follow-up Frequency dropdown menu.
  • A list of time intervals will appear (e.g., "Each Week," "6 Weeks," "12 Weeks (Quarterly)").
  • Select the option that best fits your schedule for this contact. In the video, "6 Weeks" is selected.

5. Choose the Follow-Up Method

  • Tap on the Follow-up Method dropdown menu.
  • Choose your preferred method of contact for this reminder (e.g., "Phone Call," "Text," "Email").

6. Save the Follow-Up

  • Tap the purple Save button at the bottom of the screen.
  • You will be taken back to the contact's detail page. You should now see your chosen follow-up method displayed (e.g., "Best To Reach By: Phone_call").

7. View Your Scheduled Follow-Up

  • In the main navigation bar at the bottom, tap the Follow Up icon (a person with a checkmark).
  • At the top of the Follow Up screen, tap the Coming Up tab.
  • You will now see your contact listed with the scheduled date for their next follow-up.

Next Steps:

  • When the scheduled date arrives, the reminder for this contact will automatically move from the "Coming Up" tab to the "This Week" tab, letting you know it's time to reach out.
  • Check your "This Week" tab regularly to see all your follow-ups for the current week.
